Privacy

This page describes what the site actually does. Everything here can be checked against how the site behaves.

What is not collected

There are no analytics on this site. No tracking pixels, no advertising tags, no session recording, no third-party scripts of any kind. The fonts are served from this site rather than from a font network, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you did.

There are no accounts and no passwords, so there is no store of credentials to lose. There are no cookies. Checking an order needs its reference and the phone number it was placed with, and nothing more.

What your browser stores

Your order is kept in your own browser's local storage while you shop, and it holds only the product code and how many of each — never a name, a price or a stock figure. It never leaves your device until you go to checkout. Clearing your browser data removes it, and nothing here can read it back.

What is collected when you order

Your name, your phone number, and an email address if you choose to give one. The email is optional and is only ever used to send you a receipt. Nothing subscribes you to anything, because there is no mailing list to subscribe to.

Your phone number is required because M-Pesa sends the payment prompt to it. Your name and phone number are passed to the payment provider to take the payment, and to nobody else.

No card details are ever entered on this site. Payment happens on the payment provider's own secure page. This site has no card form anywhere in it and never will.

How long it is kept

A pending order — the product codes, the quantities, the amount, your name, your phone number and the email if you gave one — is held for seven days so the payment can be matched to the order and so you can look it up. After that it expires automatically.

Who else sees it

The payment provider, because they are taking the payment. The company hosting this site, because the pages and the order have to pass through it. Nobody else. Nothing is sold, shared for advertising, or handed to a data broker.

Asking for it to be removed

Ask on the contact page with your order reference and the record will be deleted, except where a payment record has to be kept to account for money that actually moved.
